Prayers

On this day, may I put aside Cares that weigh on heart or mind, Allowing room for happiness And gratitude, for I am blessed.

Lord, You invite me to come in prayer; please shelter me in Your constant care.

Blessed Virgin Mary, I come to you In Your closeness to the Lord Jesus.

Lord Jesus, On this day, may I seek to follow You, To the best of my ability.

Lord Jesus, who calmed wind and waves, Please help me when I doubt or fear To have faith in Your protection And comfort because You are near.

Loving Lord Jesus, With the celebration of Your Kingdom Heralded and now at hand, May your abiding love be felt By people in every land.

On our journey of faith, Lord, You are with us wherever we go.

Lord, Jesus, Please open my heart to Your peace When I am anxious about many things.

Lord, thank You for inviting me to follow You And for the times You wait for me to catch up.

Father in heaven, I look up to You, Knowing that, instead of looking down on me, You have created wondrous potential To live in grace and human dignity.
