prayer inspired by the revival of Lazarus

Lord of Life, as You called Lazarus from the tomb, call my heart that is dead in fear and despair, and raise it by the power of Your love.
 

Roll away the stone of sin, and set me free from the bonds of spiritual death.

Strengthen my faith that You are the resurrection and the life, and that no death can stand in Your presence.

Teach me to trust You, even when all seems lost.

I believe, Lord—bring me to life in You!
