Prayer for Patience

Lord, please be patient with me.
 

When I wonder when my turn will come For the peace of mind I seek, Turn my thoughts to trust in You, Who know my every need.

Lord, please be patient with me.

When even a moment seems too long For awaited news to come, May my greatest longing be That Your will be done.

Lord, please be patient with me.

When at times I might not be bothered, For other things seem pressing, Please grant me Your help to use time As a precious blessing.
