Prayer for Lenten Blessing

Lord, my Savior, During this holy season of Lent, I pray in gratitude That You lived and died to bring Salvation through Your love and mercy.

Vulnerable as in the desert, I pray to have the strength To overcome temptation– To thirst for holiness, though I am weak.

Renewed in Baptismal commitment, I pray that the faith I share Will be a hope-filled blessing For others searching and in need.
