Prayer at the Christmas Tree

God, our Father, Who promised descendants To number as stars in the sky, I join with the angelic choir Giving praise and glory on high.
 

Lord Jesus, Born unto the world, Heralded by a star above, Lamb of God and Shepherd for us, I rejoice in Your light and love.

Holy Spirit, Who is with us always, That faith may shine for all to see, I pray that hope may be renewed By the light of this Christmas tree.
