Marian Prayer for the Sick

Blessed Virgin, In your gentle holiness, Please join in my prayer For those who are sick.
 

Holy Mary, I come to you, In your closeness to Jesus, Who can heal with just a word.

When healing of body or mind is not to be, Please help those who suffer To bear the pain and distress Through hope of redemption and eternal life.

Blessed Virgin Mary, you became The Mother of our Lord, And your heart was surely rent To see Him suffer on the cross.

For those who are painfully afflicted, Especially when their faith is sorely tested, Please bring comfort, For you are our loving Mother, too.
