Lenten Prayer

Heavenly Father, as we journey through this Lenten season, help us to draw closer to You.

Teach us to fast from sin, to pray with sincerity, and to give with a generous heart.

May this time of repentance purify our souls and strengthen our faith.

Lord Jesus, You spent forty days in the desert, fasting and praying.

Give us the strength to resist temptation and to walk in Your footsteps.

Fill our hearts with love, humility, and a spirit of sacrifice.

Holy Spirit, guide us in our Lenten journey.

Open our eyes to see the needs of others and give us the courage to serve with compassion.

May our fasting, prayer, and almsgiving bring us closer to the glory of Easter, where we will celebrate the victory of life over death.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.
