Holy Thursday Prayer

Beloved Jesus, on this holy day of Holy Thursday, we remember Your Last Supper, where You gave Yourself to us—Body and Blood—for eternal life.
 

You taught us humility as You washed the feet of Your disciples, showing us the way of true love and service. 

Grant us hearts like Yours, willing to love and serve without expecting anything in return.

Remind us always that the Holy Eucharist is a sign of our unity with You and with one another, and that sharing in it is a call to become broken bread for the world.

Keep us faithful to Your commandments, awake with You in Gethsemane, so that fear or weariness may never separate us from You.

Amen.
